Compact Personnel?

The Compact Personnel Philosophy

Building a future where everyone is seen, heard, and empowered to live life on their own terms.

Inclusion & Transparency

At Compact Personnel, we are committed to building a fair, transparent, and inclusive culture for the people we support, their families, our employees, and stakeholders. Our equality and diversity policies go beyond compliance, we actively create environments where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

Ongoing Commitment

We believe inclusion requires more than acknowledging differences. It takes ongoing effort, reflective practice, and open dialogue. Fairness and transparency are embedded in how we make decisions, deliver services, and work together as a team.

Independence & Choice

Our goal is to support independence, choice, and social inclusion for people with learning disabilities, who are neurodiverse, or have mental health needs. Through personalised support, therapeutic activities, and community engagement, we help people take control of their lives.

Meaningful Goals

We empower individuals to build a life that is not only supported but self-directed, rich in relationships, and fully lived. Every person deserves the opportunity to pursue their dreams and achieve meaningful outcomes.

All our services are regulated by the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and adult social care services in England. The CQC set out a broad range of standards that all providers must meet to ensure the services provided meet their standards for care. The new framework operated by CQC is a positive step on from their previous model, it focuses on ensuring services are Effective, Caring, Safe, Well led & Responsive. We strive to maintain excellent standards across all areas of CQC's key lines of enquiry.

Equality, Diversity & Inclusivity

At Compact Personnel, we strongly believe in equality and fairness for all. We adopt this view both in regards to our workforce and to the supported people that we look after. At Compact Personnel, we respect each other and value the different backgrounds of both our staff and our supported people. We believe that everyone deserves a voice and has the right to express their views and opinions. Compact Personnel promotes opportunity for all, and gives everyone a chance to achieve their potential and succeed.

Recognised for our Excellence

Compact Personnel is an independent organisation 100% owned by its founders. Our Services are Regulated by the Care Quality Commission as High Quality Services. We provide services for over 30 Local Authorities and NHS ICB's. We are one of only a small number of providers trusted to deliver complex care services on the Greater Manchester Complex Care Framework. In 2024 we gained Investors in People Silver Accreditation for our culture of supporting our people to improve the quality of life for people with a learning disability.

We have been recognised by the National Centre for Diversity and ranked in their Top 100 Employers Index. The organisations on the Top 100 Index have to demonstrate excellent levels of fairness, equality, diversity, inclusion and engagement (also known as FREDIE). Our FREDIE Champions — we have one at every service — worked extremely hard to organise events and, along with Chris and the Registered Manager team, worked to ensure that FREDIE values are always at the heart of what we do.
